Research quality across cultures, geographies, disciplines and people: A panel discussion and Q&A with the Einstein Foundation Award for Quality in Research Early Career Researcher Nominees 2021
Various aspects of science affect research quality. Four nominees from the category “Early Career Researcher” of the first Einstein Foundation Berlin Award for Promoting Quality in Research and their teams will offer insights into their projects on November 25, 2021, 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. (UTC+1) in a digital panel discussion. The panel discussion will be held as a follow-up event to the first international symposium on research integrity of the Berlin University Alliance and its Objective 3 - Advancing Research Quality and Value on November 24. With their projects the nominees address numerous aspects of research quality in different subjects such as research ethics in disability studies, common research design of big cross-national and cross-cultural team science in Psychology, the replicability of EEG experiments in the life science, and reproducible standards for large cross-cultural networks in the field of child psychology. After a discussion about their motivation, aims and challenges of research quality in diverse settings, all four nominees and their teams will be available for Q&A in small groups.
